I graduated as a Foreign Language Correspondent at the Euro-Sprachschule in Bamberg, Germany before immigrating to this country. I speak, write and read fluent German and English. My Spanish is nothing to brag about, but I’m working on it. Living in SoCal should make it easy, right?
After I moved to the U.S. I freelanced as a court interpreter and also did general translations from English to German and vice versa. Later, from 2007 to 2009, I worked full-time in the international Q/A localization department at Sony Online Entertainment on their MMO games which included Everquest II, Pirates of the Burning Seas, Legends of Norrath, Free Realms and Zuma.
I recently worked on the feature film ‘The Samuel Project‘ (dir. Marc Fusco) as a voice actor and as a German language consultant. I had the honor and pleasure to be the dialogue coach to the main star, Hal Linden and his co-star Trina Kaplan. It was such a blast and so rewarding, I would love to do more of this kind of work!
Of course, with my acting background, I’m also available for voice overs! If you would like to hear a sample, just email me!
So, if you need something translated into German or from German into English – I’m your “Mädel”! Oh, and for those familiar with Bavarian dialects – I can translate anything into ‘Fränkisch‘! No freili, ka broblem! I also tutor if you need a little help with your German.
