Hi all, how was your summer? Are you ready for the temps to fall? I sure am… and I can’t wait to dig out my long-sleeved clothes, boots and coats! Did I ever mention how much I love scarves?
Ok, here’s a quick update on some of the things I’ve been up to, film festival news and upcoming stuff:
As promised here’s the screening info for “I’m not a Dummy“, a sweet short film I was part of recently. I’ve already blogged about how fun it was to work with puppets here; and I just found out that it already got its imdb credit, so, yaay! :)
The screening will be at Digital Gym, 2921 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, California 92104 on November 10th at 10am – for more info, please click on this link to the Facebook event page.

The weekend of October 5th and 6th, I volunteered at the German Currents San Diego Film Festival again. This was my 3rd year in a row (since they started, actually) and, again, it was a blast! Some of us know each other from the very first year and it’s always fun to see familiar faces again. Plus I got to meet some new awesome people, including industry peeps. Can’t wait for next year!

A mystery/thriller short film I acted in earlier this year, All Night, (which just got finished and already accepted to its first film festival) will be screened at the Horrible Imaginings Film Festival on Thursday, October 24th at 7.30pm. Location and ticket info is here, but I believe that it’s almost sold out already. Hurry!

Great news! The unstoppable fantasy feature film The Immortal Edward Lumley was screened at Louisville International Festival of Film last weekend and it won best film in the category ‘On the Edge’! Congrats to director William Wall and cast & crew (which has become my family by now)! I got a feeling that this is just the beginning :)

After filming a few final pick-up shots last weekend, I’m officially wrapped on The Slingers! (written and directed by David Ruiz) I play investigative journalist Tina Monroe in this family-friendly sports feature film. I can’t believe it’s almost finished and I’m eager to see it myself. This was one of the most fleshed out and fun characters to play in a while. I loved her story arc so much! Check out their Facebook page, poster and screening coming up soon!

Last, but not least – I just got cast as a tough-as-nails detective in Penance by Inferno Productionz – check out their website! They also made a nice bio page for each of their actors.
